Design Philosophy

The Midnight Case File was constructed to avoid common cliches. We rejected the novelty magnifying glasses and cartoonish elements, opting instead for a mature, atmospheric environment. The color palette—Noir Black, Rain Charcoal, and Case File Brown—sets a specific tension.

Every element in Detective Slot is treated as a piece of evidence, presented cleanly against paper tan backgrounds, allowing the mechanics of the game to shine through the moody aesthetic.
